Hello, my name is Kelsey and I am the designer and creative mind behind Losa

Losa is meant to showcase mid-century modern looks, and inspire your style in a new way. I believe in inspiring the whole beauty we each have within ourselves and that “goodness” is defined by who we are and growing to become. The jewelry I design is trying to speak to you as a person, friend, and soul. I hope that you can find a piece that you can wear everyday whether your a Mom, in school, or new to wearing jewelry; my designs are meant to showcase a spectrum of styles (similar to Mid-Century Modern designs) in hopes of allowing you to feel comfortable with your unique style and courage to wear something new.

 

I’ve learned that jewelry can have a reputation for being too much, intimidating, and uncomfortable for everyday and my goal is to provide something new and with a fresh opportunity through stunning designs that are simple to wear.

I was born and lived in Southern California before moving all the way to Iowa. I’ve experienced the trendy looks of “Valley Girls” and subtle beauty of rural small towns and meld these two worlds into my work. I have a professional background in social work where I’ve spent much of my time supporting others with mental health needs, assisting individuals with accessing resources and have seen hardship than I could’ve never imagined. As a social worker I learned that my “job” thrives through empathy for the goodness of people and requires a sense of hope. I use these skills when thinking of my jewelry designs and the season someone could be in whether they may be looking for a sentimental pair of earrings or ring to remind them of goodness that’s there even in hard times.
